Unlock the magic of personalised poetry

Personalised poetry prints really are a gift that lasts

Let’s talk about the sheer magic of personalised poetry and why it’s a great go-to for a birthday gift that really means something. Buying cards and gifts can seem a bit of an assembly line in the digital age. Does your dearest friend really need another book or scarf? Does Dad want another bio of his favourite sports personality? Buying presents is hard, and buying something really meaningful can feel impossible.

A heartfelt, meaningful gift

Imagine this: Instead of a generic, one-size-fits-all birthday wish, you give a heartfelt, tailor-made poem. What makes this type of gift stand out is its knack for capturing the quirks and qualities that make people special. A bespoke birthday poem is more than generic fluff; it’s about diving deep into life, memories, and the moments that shaped your relationship.

Taking the opportunity to commission a bespoke birthday poem means taking the opportunity to say how much you cherish your relationship. A personalised birthday poem will make your loved one feel seen, feel valuable and feel cared for in a way that even the most gorgeous scarf or bunch of flowers never could.

Personalised poetry made simple

The process of creating personalized poetry is an adventure in itself. When you get in touch with me, our adventure begins.

I start by gathering the basics with a simple questionnaire. Once I’ve got the outline details, I begin to build your poem. I’ll keep in touch throughout the writing process to fill in any gaps and make sure I’ve got everything I need to truly capture the essence of your sentiment. Your bespoke birthday poem is like a poetic scrapbook, with every stanza holding a piece of your unique story.

A well-crafted poem can whisk you back to those special moments, making you laugh, maybe even shed a tear, and relive the warmth of shared experiences. It’s a keepsake that transcends time, turning a birthday celebration into a memory that lingers long after the candles are blown out. It’s not just a birthday present; it’s a little piece of connection, neatly wrapped in verses and stanzas.

Bespoke poetry prints

Once we’ve got the words perfect, I’ll begin to create your print. I have a selection of fonts that I know work really well for an A5 print, and you’ll see I tend to favour quite elegant styling. Having said that, this is a bespoke piece so if you need another look, just say and I’ll work my magic. I’ll always advise in favour of images and colours that work well in print and between us we’ll create a piece of art that will be cherished for years to come.

Superb quality poetry, paper  and print

Talking of print, something that makes my work extra special is the quality of print I create. Careful research led my to G.F.Smith paper – they’re an established paper manufacturer with oodles of skill in making paper that works beautifully, takes colour well and looks superb. I print at 600 dPI which gives excellent clarity to our carefully chosen images. I finish your print with a mitre-cut cardboard mount so it’s ready to go in a frame of your choice. As a guide, most 10 x 8 photo frames will work with your print.

If you’re on a budget, then I’m happy to offer simpler option. My email only poems are written with the same love, care and attention  to detail as a poetry print and sent to you as a simple word document for you to print, write out or email on to the lucky recipient.
