Bespoke wedding poetry is used for wedding readings, wedding vows and wedding speeches. Each poem is written especially for you and I’ve been lucky enough to work with brides, grooms, best men and women, mums or dads and I’ve been written on behalf of a beloved pet.

I’m more than happy to write for other occasions too. I’ve written poems for birthdays, christenings, mother’s day, father’s day – you name it I’ll write for you! I’m always thrilled embark on a new commission.

Poems and readings for Funerals and Memorials

I know from first hand how hard these occasions are, and am always honoured to be asked to express your feelings at such a difficult time. As with all my work, the words are produce are written to meet your needs. Some people are looking for a celebration of the life of their loved one, some need something that addresses the profound loss they feel. There is no right way to grieve. My hope is that my words will bring comfort and some sense of peace at a very difficult time.

I also offer two ready to read poems that work very well as funeral readings . It can be hard to hold your nerve on these occasions, so these poems are short, simple and poignant. All my funeral and memorial work is available as a keepsake print too, to offer comfort and clarity in the months to come.

The first step is to get in touch and tell me what you’re looking for, when you need it. We’ll talk about who the poem is for and what you’re celebrating, as well as any details about style. I’ll ask about all those little quirks that make your loved one unique and gather as many details as possible to weave a beautiful poem that will be treasured for years to come.

I’ll send you the first draft for approval and when you’re happy I’ll design and print your poem, using digital illustration and decoration. After you’ve received your printed copy, I’ll send you the digital file to keep.

It can take a couple of drafts to get the poem just as you like, so don’t worry if the first piece I send you isn’t exactly what you had in mind. We’ll chat a bit more and I’ll create a second draft at no extra charge.
